Anirban also specializes in Criminal Law, more particularly White Collar Crimes, International crime syndicates, Extradition and Fraud and has advised, strategized and represented Clients before the Special CBI Court, various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. Anirban regularly advises and represents Clients in commercial, civil and company law disputes. Anirban also advises on property disputes, trusts and estate planning. Anirban has recently successfully represented Mr. Dayanidhi Maran, the former telecom Minister, Sun Direct TV and its promoter, Mr. Kalanithi Maran in relation to “Aircel-Maxis” case and secured a ‘dischage’ for them. Anirban also secured the discharge of the said former Telecom Minister and Mr. Kalanithi Maran in the BSNL Telephone exchange scam case filed by the CBI.
Anirban continues to represent Sun TV , its promoter and the former Telecom Minister in other cases as well. Anirban has represented multinational companies and high net-worth individuals in the ongoing Common-Wealth Games Trial, the “2 G spectrum” allocation cases, telecom and shipping scams and white-collar crimes generally across India and also advises Clients on trans-border implications. Anirban represented the erstwhile promoters of SpiceJet in their arbitration against the present promoter and SpiceJet and secured an award of more than Rs. 1000 crores and presently represents them in the execution proceedings and objections thereto in the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. Anirban is presently involved in an international commercial arbitration against Philips.

Anirban regularly appears before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and various High Courts across India. Anirban has been appearing as Counsel before various Judicial and quasi – judicial forums including, inter alia, various High Courts, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), NCLT and NCLAT, NCDRC. Anirban has successfully represented clients before the Special C.B.I Courts constituted specially to prosecute offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and other matters before the trial courts across India
